The changes to The Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015 were created to improve health and safety in the construction industry and places duties on all parties involved in a construction project.  

 

The law requires businesses to employ internally or seek external specialist advice. This ensures that you comply with your legal duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act. 1974 and associated health and safety legislation.

 

The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 places large responsibilities on Employers to protect their workforce, others working on their site and any person who may be affected by their works from health and safety risks. However, some employers may not have the experience or skills to carry out these duties properly. Therefore, advice and services from external qualified industry experts is essential.
